Renovations to four elementary schools: Meade; Reynolds; Hamilton; and Huey were needed to allow a conversion to serve grades K-8 rather than K-5. At each school, an Informational Materials Center, and a Science Classroom were needed. Hamilton Elementary is a 1960’s vintage concrete frame structure. In this school the Informational Materials Center received new carpeting, computer networking, and media technology, and new furniture. For the Science Classroom, existing classroom space was converted, classroom furniture and a demonstration desk were provided.
