Development of the overall master plan for the Howard Hughes Center located in a prime Los Angeles location. The plan calls for a major new business center and provides a clear planning framework to guide long-range development of nearly three million square feet of office space, a 600 room hotel, and retail and recreational facilities. The physical plan anticipated a carefully phased, 10-year build-out for the complete project.
The Wang Office Building was the first statement in the master plan concept completed.
