Jim Winker earned a Master of Architecture and Urban Design degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture degree from North Carolina State University. He has worked for acclaimed architects, including Charles Moore, Barton Myers, Robert Venturi, and Cesar Pelli on projects ranging from airports to art museums. His large-scale public and institutional project experience is complemented by his wife’s smaller-scale educational and private residential work.
Mimi Converse Winkler earned a Master’s degree focused on community planning from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from Washington University in Saint Louis. Her work has been noted for sensitivity to user needs and integration within its context. Active in the community, Mimi is a longstanding board member on the Neighborhood Club of Bala Cynwyd, advising them on architectural and urban planning issues.
