An important link in community revitalization, the new rail station in Ardmore will be convenient and welcoming for travelers using Amtrak’s Keystone Corridor and the trains of the Main Line. With a design that reflects the pitched roof of the original 1920s depot melded with the new Septa Regional Rail standards, the new station will meet contemporary expectations for safety, accessibility and technology. The new canopied inbound and outbound platforms are significantly raised to meet train doors for full accessibility, and the enclosed waiting room features comfortable bench seating, large operable windows, and accessible toilet rooms.
