Secure, durable and respectful of its neighbors, this new electrical substation is a hard-working utilitarian building on the residential edge of campus. Composed of red brick with a ribbon of ground face block and standing seam metal roof, the building’s glass block windows let in natural light for workers operating the transfer units. In addition to the main equipment room, the facility features an administrative office and restroom.
